I Stand With The Forgotten Women

Our aim is to prove to these women that they are not forgotten

I Stand With The Forgotten Women

We are a nonprofit organization created to address the inequities in overwhelming support given to women who are abortion-determined versus that given to those who are abortion-vulnerable and whose preference is to keep their baby if given the chance.

Who We Are

We are a nonprofit organization created to address the inequities in overwhelming support given to women who are abortion-determined versus that given to those who are abortion-vulnerable and whose preference is to keep their baby if given the chance.

Who will Stand with Us?

We hold the belief that of every woman who has an abortion, most would have made a different choice if they perceived that compassionate, nonjudgmental, easily accessible support was available.

We believe that because a woman’s conscience may dictate she makes a different choice, her needs shouldn’t be ignored. These are what we’ve identified as the “forgotten women.” The forgotten women are the tens of millions of women who would never have had an abortion if they had any other choice, along with the millions who struggle with the psychological effects of that choice.

We feel a sense of injustice when we see wealthy individual donors, major corporations, Hollywood celebrities, elected officials, labor unions, everyday 9-to-5 workers, college fraternities and sororities, and even Christians funding expensive last-minute plane tickets, hotel stays, money for food, traveling outfits, hair styling, ground transportation, etc. Everything she needs to have an abortion and nothing for the woman who’s struggling to avoid it. Perhaps for the second or third or fourth time.

Our Mission

Is to remove barriers for women who are on the verge of pursuing an abortion due to their circumstances but, if given the chance, prefer to embrace motherhood.

How We Do It

Through our ongoing fundraising campaign, we funnel money to these micro-organizations, which work in the trenches as the first line of defense for women and couples seeking a life-affirming alternative and post-abortive care.

How You Can Help

  • Make a one-time donation of any amount or become a monthly partner.
  • Volunteer at your local pregnancy resource center or maternity home.
  • Start a diaper, stroller, car seat drive, or infant clothes drive month at your church or workplace to help supply their material room
  • Become a counselor for post-abortive women who are struggling to move on.
  • Start a pregnancy care ministry in your church.

Our Vision

To shift societal focus beyond the politics of abortion to one where we acknowledge the critical need for a compassionate response from the faith community to address the upstream factors that are contributing to our abortion-on-demand culture.

Our Core Beliefs

  • Respect for Life: We believe that all life is a gift that should be respected and protected at whatever stage, age, or condition it’s found in.
  • Support for All: Every woman who encounters an unplanned pregnancy deserves unwavering support, compassionate care, and the freedom to make choices that resonate with their beliefs and aspirations.
  • Ideological Unity: Despite ideological differences, everyone should agree that reducing the number of lives lost to abortion is beneficial for all.

Our Greatest Need: Churches

The relationship between the church and pregnancy resource centers can be likened to a marriage ordained in heaven, where each entity complements and supports the other in fulfilling a shared mission. Pregnancy resource centers often serve as vital extensions of the church’s ministry, providing practical support, resources, and compassionate care to individuals facing unplanned pregnancies and related challenges. Likewise, the church offers spiritual guidance, moral support, and a community of faith to individuals served by pregnancy resource centers. Together, they form a powerful partnership grounded in love, compassion, and a shared commitment to upholding the sanctity of human life and supporting individuals in need. Just as a marriage thrives on mutual respect, cooperation, and shared values, so too does the relationship between the church and pregnancy resource centers flourish when grounded in a common vision of promoting life, dignity, and hope for all. Through their collaborative efforts, they can offer holistic support and care to individuals and families, embodying the transformative power of love and grace.
